D80sV #93: Chicago - Stay The Night

Daily 80's Video #93: "Stay The Night" is a very fun video by Chicago, featuring lead singer Peter Cetera doing a great job posing as a more than a little persistent suitor. This also happens to be my favorite 80's Chicago song. As Chicago entered the 80's it seems they changed their sound for the new decade. Their 80's sound was much different than their 70's hits like "Make Me Smile" and "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is." Enjoy Peter Cetera!

D80sV #92: Roachford - Kathleen

Daily 80's Video #92: (Andrew) Roachford came along at the tail-end of the 80's. I had his debut, self-titled album from 1988 and played it to death. But Roachford didn't get much play in America - what else is new, good music getting no play in America. Roachford's only semi-hit in America was "Cuddly Toy", which was great, but the whole album was full of hits! And here's my favorite, "Kathleen". The quality isn't the greatest but it was the only "Kathleen" music video I could find. Enjoy Roachford's great voice and the jazzy driving beat of the song.
