Daily 80's Video #17: This video is pure 80's magic! It mixes three separate, yet essential 80's realms; movies, music, and of course WWF wrestling. Cyndi Lauper's Goonies R Good Enough is first of all one my favorite Cyndi Lauper songs. And like her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun video, it features Cyndi's Dad played by wrestler Captain Lou Albano and Cyndi's Mom played by, well, her Mom. The video has some great wrestlers from the time period like Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Iron Shiek, Nikoli Volkoff, and Classy Freddie Blassie. And then, toward the end, Cyndi is joined by the Goonies themselves! What a great movie!
